Yoga

I’ve been practicing yoga for over ten years and I’ve found something in the practice that I haven’t found in anything else; a sense of serenity, peace, safety, a space to reflect, reset and make sense of what I’m feeling and what I need. So often I have found clarity with questions, worries or concerns, through the practice of yoga. It helps to create the space to work through such concerns without thinking or analysing but by feeling and breathing and by setting a clear intention. It has also helped me to surrender to what is, and to let go, and has been something I have always returned to through life’s ups and downs. I feel incredibly grateful that I was able to go to India for a month at the end of last year to complete a 200 hour yoga teacher training at Sampoorna, in Agonda, Goa. I trained in Ashtanga and Vinyasa Flow and the training incorporated physical asana (poses), as well as philosophy, anatomy, and pranayama (breathing and meditation). I’m excited to be able teach yoga here in London, alongside practicing psychotherapy and counselling. I offer one-to-one private sessions - feel free to enquire via the online form for further information. Namaste.
